We wanted something that feels like a good friend who has already seen a few weddings through: more personal than a rigid checklist, closer to you than a chatbot. That is how Miri came about.
How HeyBride came to be.
We built HeyBride because we’re convinced: wedding planning should feel personal, without being complicated or expensive.
A wedding planner is a wonderful solution for couples who want to hand everything over. Classic online tools help everyone who enjoys planning in a structured way themselves.
With HeyBride, we bring both together. The closeness of personal guidance with the simplicity and fairness of an app.
HeyBride is made for couples who want to shape their wedding themselves, but without the feeling of having to carry it all alone. For couples who care about their own style, want structure, and also want to be able to lean back now and then.
And then there’s Miri. Our little fairy is the heart of HeyBride. Behind her is modern technology, but the feeling is meant to be a different one. Miri is there so that wedding planning feels like a chat with a good friend.

Hi, I’m Julie. HeyBride is my project. Together with Miri, the little fairy, I work on it every day.
What drove me: seeing how many couples are stressed and overwhelmed during what should actually be a beautiful time. I wanted to change that. With HeyBride, wedding planning should feel lighter, more personal and more relaxed. Because between all the ideas and to-dos, what really matters can easily get lost: the anticipation.

Your wedding is personal. That’s how we treat your data, too. Hosted in Germany and never resold. A safe place for your planning.

No subscription, because a wedding is once. You pay once — 24 months to plan, plus 3 months after your „I do". Free, Basic or Premium — whatever matches your pace.
Where our numbers come from.
We write about wedding planning because we work on it every day. Even so, the rule here is: no number without a source. When the HeyBride Journal says what a wedding in Germany costs, those figures come from statistics, supplier pricing and feedback from couples, not from a hunch. We name the year a figure refers to, and we update articles when prices shift.
Articles appear under the name Miri, because they are written in the same voice Miri uses in the app. Editorial responsibility sits with Julie Kampe. So everything you read in the journal has been checked by a person before it goes live.
We also recommend things that have nothing to do with HeyBride. Sometimes a wedding planner is the better choice than an app, and our comparison wedding planner, DIY or tool says exactly that. We earn nothing through supplier commissions and we do not accept paid placements. Our only revenue is the one-time purchases in the app.

The company behind it
HeyBride is operated by Sovion, a small team based in Germany. Development, operations and support all sit with us, with no agency in between. The app runs on servers in Germany, your planning data never leaves the EU and is never sold on.
